🙏 A HUGE THANK YOU TO BOTH GME AUSTRALIA & ICOM AUSTRALIA! 🙏
The Royal Volunteer Coastal Patrol SA Inc. – Point Turton Division would like to extend a massive thank you to both GME Australia & Icom Australia for their generous donations.
GME have donated of a brand-new GX750 Black Box VHF Marine Radio, which will be installed in our new tow vehicle & with all the controls on the microphone this radio will be easy to operate in our vehicle. 🚙
Icom Australia have donated a brand-new IC-M330GE VHF Marine Radio for use in our Catering & Promo Trailer! 🚐📻
This radio will help us stay connected and communicate effectively while we’re out and about fundraising. It will also give us the opportunity to demonstrate some of the great features of modern VHF marine radios.
We truly appreciate GME Australia & Icom Australia for supporting our volunteer marine rescue group at Point Turton and helping us continue our work supporting the local community and promoting boating safety.
Your generosity and support of our volunteer organisation is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to putting the new radios to good use.
Thank you, GME Australia & ICOM Australia! 👏❤️
Our New Point Turton Tow Vehicle
The new Ford Ranger Super Duty will serve as the dedicated tow vehicle for our new rescue vessel, which is due to arrive later this year. With a maximum towing capacity of 4,500 kg, it is perfectly suited to the task and will further strengthen our operational capability, ensuring our volunteers have the right equipment to respond safely and effectively whenever they're called upon.
